The Year 11 Physical Education Studies General course focuses on the relationships between motor learning and the psychological, biomechanical, and physiological factors that influence participation and performance in physical activity.
This course is designed for students who enjoy practical physical activity and are interested in developing their understanding of sport, fitness, coaching, and healthy lifestyles. Students engage in both theoretical and practical learning experiences that allow them to apply movement concepts, analyse performance, and improve their skills and participation in a variety of physical activities.
The course provides opportunities for students to develop teamwork, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills through active participation and performance analysis.
