Health Studies (General)

The Year 11 Health Studies General course enables students to explore health as a dynamic and multifaceted aspect of life. Students examine how beliefs, attitudes, and values influence health behaviours and decision-making, while developing practical strategies to promote both personal wellbeing and the health of others. 

Throughout the course, students investigate the impact of social, cultural, and environmental factors on health. They also develop inquiry and critical thinking skills to analyse contemporary health issues and propose informed responses. 

This course provides valuable opportunities for students interested in future pathways related to health promotion, research, community services, and healthcare industries.
