Human Biology (ATAR & General)

Studying a Human Biology course will enable students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the human body and its functions, which is essential for making informed decisions about health and lifestyle. Students are exposed to a variety of biological sources, including scientific papers, laboratory experiments, case studies, models, diagrams, and secondary sources, in order to understand the structure and function of the human body, as well as the interrelationships between systems and the environment.

Students who choose Human Biology will complete depth-studies and investigate topics such as:

  • The Musculoskeletal System
  • The Nervous and Endocrine Systems
  • Genetics and Inheritance
  • Human Evolution and Adaptation
