Workplace Skills (Certificate II)

These courses are online-based, delivered and marked by a qualified teacher administrator, and are industry-recognised qualifications.

The course teaches the skills and knowledge to work in different administration roles, learning how to give effective customer service, communicate in a business environment and what procedures and processes to follow in the workplace. You’ll also develop the skills to produce business documents like reports, presentations, and other computer-based documents.

Students who successfully complete the Certificate II in Workplace Skills in Year 11 are eligible to undertake further study, with the Certificate III in Business, in Year 12.

Pathways Beyond School
There are many jobs that require a Certificate II/III in Business qualification, but some roles include:

  • Customer service
  • Call Centre team leader
  • Supervisor
  • Coordinator
  • Clerk
  • Payroll officer
