Workplace Learning (Endorsed)

Workplace Learning is a hands-on program where students gain valuable work experience while earning credit towards their WACE. Students attend a workplace one day per week for a minimum of 55 hours, completing a skills journal and task schedule. Students can earn C grade equivalents towards their WACE.

Course Structure
Students participate in a workplace induction, interview process, and are supported throughout. The program develops skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving.

This course gives real-world insight into different industries and helps you make informed career decisions. It also strengthens applications for apprenticeships, TAFE, and jobs.

Pre-requisites
It is College policy that students also select Careers and Employability General Course as this is complementary to their Workplace Learning experience.
