Geography invites students to explore the complexity of our world—its environments, cultures, and systems—and understand the challenges facing people and the planet. Students investigate current issues such as environmental change, hazards, and global connections, using maps, data, and fieldwork.

Unit 1: Geography of Environments at Risk

Examine natural and ecological hazards and their impact.

Unit 2: Geography of People and Places

Investigate population trends, urban development, and global networks.
