Psychology (ATAR)

Why Choose This Course?

Why do we forget things we thought we knew? What motivates human behaviour? How can psychological knowledge improve learning, mental health and wellbeing?

Psychology ATAR Year 12 explores the scientific study of human thought, emotion and behaviour. Students investigate how people learn, remember, make decisions and respond to challenges, while developing an understanding of the factors that influence wellbeing and mental health. Through research, data analysis and the evaluation of psychological evidence, students gain valuable insights into human behaviour and its application in everyday life.
